#Believe and we did believe. The Silkmen (our local team) are back in the 92. Relegated in 2012, it’s been six long years in exile but what makes this season so momentous is the way that they did it. With only three signed players pre-season, the manager John Askey worked miracles under a tight budget, pulling together a team that played attractive football and performed when the pressure was on. The SD prints only show the results but that’s only the half of it. MTFC is a community club and many people at the club and outside worked hard to make this happen.
